I bought this all-black 4 inch heels a few months ago. After using it several times, I decided to put a little accent to it.
Using my gold paint, water and my ever reliable paintbrush, I added a little alteration to my heels to make it less boring.
I am very much satisfied with the result and probably I will buy a new pair of heels and hand paint it all the way. I still haven’t decide what design I should do but I’m sure it will be colorful.

Last month I was planning to buy new pair of jeans. Most of my pants are skinny jeans and cargo pants. I only have a pair of straight cut jeans.
Luckily my sister cleaned her closet and I saw an old jeans of her. I got an idea and I immediately asked her if I can have it.
My old tattered jeans doesn’t fit me anymore. That’s my plan. Making this old fashioned pants into more updated and stylish jeans.
I started cutting small parts of the pants vertically. Then slowly scratching some parts using cutter. After I got the effect that I want, I started using it playing with the brush putting different colors. Then lastly, I let the white paint splatter. Let it dry for whole day then to make sure that the paint will stay long, I ironed it in a medium temperature.
Here’s the final look.
Another thousand pesos saved.

One of my best girlfriend asked me to do a design for her 2 nephews who are now living in New Zealand. Both of the kids are fond of angry birds so she asked me to make a hand-painted shoes for them. Shoes were provided by Jek, bought in Sanuk.

It’s almost 2 years since I started the hand-painted shoes business. I can’t even remember how many I’ve done. But when somebody requested a Philippine Flag recently, I told myself I want to have this design too. Usually I don’t repeat designs from past orders. So I made a little change and added a few more stars. This is actually the first time I designed hand-painted sneakers for myself.
Proud to be Pinoy!

I just updated the name of my shoe design business. From Adikshoes I change it to Addictoes. This design is just plain and simple. My client wants pink and white theme and a simple robot then hearts on the background. I wanted to add more designs but as always, I follow my client’s request.

I got a message from my old friend Shang. She told me that her friend in New York is coming to town and wants the same hand-painted shoes that she ordered from me. Of course different designs. It’s been a long time since I accept order. With my busy schedule i can no longer make time for this. But she’s a friends’ friend so I can’t refuse.
They provided the shoes and it took me 1 week to finish the 2 designs. Here are the photos.

Here I am again.
Will travel and experience a little different Asian culture. But since I am limiting my budget again for this trip, I went to my favorite shopping place Ukay-Ukay. I discovered this place when I went to deliver and ship Adikshoes via LBC. This time I bought 2 dresses, 1 short, 3 shirts and 1 bolero for 200php only. Good thing when I visited their place, they are on sale. Some of these needs trimming, and some are just ok as they are.
What I usually do after buying these clothes from Ukay-ukay. I put them in a basin then soak them in hot water, but of course it depends on which material or fabric is the clothing made of.
Let’s start with the clothes that I bought that I had to trim. I’m not a long sleeves fan so when I got this 2 tops, I started to cut the sleeves then prep and sew the edges. Here are the before and after look.
This one is my favorite because of the nice button details at the back.
Next clothes that I bought does not need any alterations.
I love the cargo shorts. Then next would be dresses that I just added some belt to make it look different.
You can wear either skinny jeans, tights or just wear it as a dress.

My last week of 2010 was challenging. Aside from my regular task with work. I got 7 orders of hand-painted sneakers and all of them needs to be delivered before the year ends.
A week before that I decided to grow my nails because it’s been a year since I had long nails. It was a bad decision, didn’t expect that I’ll be finishing 7 shoes in a week so bye-bye to my French tip manicure.
Got a personalized design for a family (mom, dad, and child) with graffiti design of their last name at the back then some numbers at front. The mom does not have a specific design in mind aside from the last name at the back and then the numbers in front, so I suggested I’ll make the numbers in monotone then the graffiti in colored so it can be easily seen. Got an approval from her. Here is the finish product.
The second order is from a friend of mine. He requested for Pooh and Piglet design. It was already 2 hours before the 2010 ends I’m still working on these shoes. Luckily, I was able to finish everything on time.
And the last 2 orders are from Pampanga. She already have a design in mind so I just had to copy everything.
I am grateful for all the blessings for the year 2010. Though it was tiring, these are blessings.

I have an upcoming trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan this last week of November. Me and my friends were able to get a very low roundtrip fare (160.oophp) from Cebu Pacific. As per my friend Espie, allotted budget every domestic trip should be at least 8 to 10 thousand. I don’t have the pleasure of buying new outfits for this trip so I decided to go to my favorite Ukay-ukay shop here in Valenzuela and let my sewing machine do the rest. Here are the two items I bought and I got them for only 30php each.
I started cutting the sleeves.
Then hand sew the edge of the sleeves for the thread not to loose.
I burnt the edge of the sleeves and I want to leave its rawness.
Here are the final pieces.
